My style: Stripes are alright! Keep it simple!

Hey my lovelies, 

Yet another post on my style, my way..I have this secret obsession with stripes!! 

I can never get enough of them, but you know what? they are a must have for any wardrobe. Stripes in any type top or jumper are such a classic piece and never date! They look great with blazers, coats or paired with jeans. And their biggest advantage is they are so practical!

This one above, I had been lusting over for an age, and when in +Athlone Towncentre Shopping Centre , one day with my sister I spotted it back in stock. Its from Zara for €29.95, available here, I love the material, its a fine knit with a stretch in it and its so comfy.

The thing about this sweater that appealed to me most is the high neck on it. I'm not a huge fan of polo necks maybe because I don't have a long neck, so this type of style suits me better!

I know its coming into the Summer so the likelihood of getting lots of wear out of it in the next few months is slim, although it is Ireland and the Irish weather can be unpredictable. One things for sure, it will be pulled out of the wardrobe for autumn. 

The sunglasses are Guess, that I picked up in +TK Maxx, I swear by it girls, TK Maxx has a great selection of sunnies for fabulous prices, you just need to be quick! Those pair were €39.99!

A better look at the sweater, the back of it dips a little more in length than the front, which is a style I'm loving.

I paired the sweater with leather pants, and these ones I picked up in River Island a while back for €24 (I know!!) still some in stock but very little sizes (here) . If you are looking for a nice Leather pair then I would recommend the Freddy Leather pants (they are amazing and currently on my wishlist!)  available here.

The bag, no words needed really..this was bought as a gift from my brother on his travels a few years ago, he did good really didnt he? Its divine and one of my most coveted things in the wardrobe!

I kept the whole look casual by adding my adidas superstars, I love these, so comfy and great for casual wear...mind you not quiet sure how I kept them so white in this pic! You can find them here

I also gave this outfit a run for its money over in Paris too and was super for strolling around the pretty Parisian streets, casual yet stylish.

What's in my shopping basket? Wishlist

So was just doing a spot of browsing/shopping online for "Others..my other half siblings etc" and mid shopping I just realised I never did a "What's in my basket" for this month. It also dawned on me, that I have the most expensive taste, actually I lie, I've always had expensive taste, just not a big enough bank account...

So I was trigger happy with the add/buy button on all websites...(actually the majority are below)...its so much fun pretending you're loaded and adding the most ridiculously expensive clothes/shoes/jewellery into a basket. (I went a bit easy with this post as I don't think anyone could afford something in their €1000's..well me anyway)..in fact the quote below sums it up nicely..my better half throws confused looks across my way when I erupt in laughter at spontaneous moments..I think he thinks I'm gone mad..he'd definitely think it, if he saw the total price totted up in my online shopping basket!

So on that note lets get started...(excited tone) this is so much fun! I love doing this type of post...

I'm a magpie seriously love all things sparkly, even my wedding dress had sparkle in it, I remember asking my mother when I tried it on did I look like a Christmas tree haha!! Can never resist Jewellery particularly Michael Kors.I used to own a piece a long time ago but I had the misfortune of breaking my lovely Michael Kors Bracelet and watching the balls scatter all across Dunnes Stores floor! Wasn't pretty, having said that it was an elastic flimsy type band with balls on it and the MK disc(expensive mind!) so maybe avoid that type of bracelet as the elastic wears very easily! Ah Zara, every month they kill my bank account, love everything from this place..so reasonable too, although as you add to your basket its amazing how quickly the total becomes hundreds! I always want everything! River Island is always a good one too and my current favourites are these above. Bottom Left; I tried these Over the Knee boots on and they are to die for ..Loved them €95 here. Love all the collars in River Island, they are super handy and avoid bulkiness of shirts under jumpers, this tie one I love, €17 find it here.  And finally another bit of sparkle This top is €55 and available here.

I love Topshop, there's always great pieces available, My favourite at the moment is this dress |Top left, I don't know where id wear it but it is fab, pricey at €220 find it here, next to it is an embroidered dress, gorge too, pricey at €170 but it is a wishlist after all, find it here, Love this "two in one" velvet playsuit find it instore and online here. Bottom left to right; Love a good clutch and this embellished one is €68 and available here, comes in gold too. Next up the cream top with golf sequins and tassels €52, available here. 

Couldn't leave my favourite boutique out ...From top to right; absolutely lusting after this coat..I have enough coats but this one sure is unique. Love the feathered embellishment, see top pics.. Its €129 and available here, centre pic is some belts available from Folkster, love these as they would dress up any plain dress or skirt always a handy one to have in the wardrobe, these are bridal but don't think it matters ranging from €29-€49 plus. I love pretty romantic dresses and these two are my favourites, the dress on the left is from Paper Dolls, Cork its €395 (pic compliments to Blogger Marie from The Beautmum) and the second dress is from Asos, love Tulle and lace together €88.24 and selling out fast , find it here. 

A Brown Thomas splurge has to be done...It is a wishlist after all..now there was plenty of dresses I would only love from here mainly in their thousands but I will never have the cash to spend that kind of money on a dress...so although its a splurge list above, its not too bad really considering what I could buy haha! Top left to right Three Floor Dress €275 (love these dresses, live in the one I have ..size up girls as the sizing is small) buy it here, Centre dress is amazing love halterneck's and this is so me, price is €340 and you can buy it here. Next dress is by another fab brand AQ AQ, this little red number is €270 and available here. Bottom left: This brand is called Sumcoo and for Brown Thomas is seems to be a little more affordable, this skirt is €110 and available here, Oh the bag of dreams apart from Chanel!! Yes I have expensive taste, my biggest downfall, but its nice to pretend Ive lots of money and spend hours of fun and pure entertainment adding ridiculously expensive items to my basket

And after all that adding to shopping baskets ..Ill be doing a lot of this next week!!!

What's in my basket? October wishlist

 

So just putting that quote above, out there.....admit it how many of you have added a million things to the shopping cart and not bought any of it??...its like a guilty pleasure!

I'm actually a master mind at this activity, it should be a sport, this adding of items to the shopping cart! Pass me the wine I'm going online and adding a wishlist!!

I often pretend I've just won the lotto, so I begin to add every lusting piece to that sparkling basket. Seriously you should see my net a porter wish list...sickening really the money that it adds up to, it could feed a whole nation..I'm not kidding!!!

So I decided that every month in order to feed my habit, I'm going to have a "What's in my basket?" post.
